About VCSWEB
Our name VCSWEB is an acronym of our former VideoCam Services business name, established in 1991.
VCSWEB is owned and operated by Rod Gasson in the Southern Suburbs of Adelaide, South Australia.
A Brief History
From 1991 through to August 10, 2005 as ‘VideoCam Services’ we offered VCR Repair and Video Capture and other related services.
In 1997, we published “The Internet for Commodore C64/128 Users“, a 300 page manual that enjoyed strong international sales on the Web. We’ve witnessed the benefits of having a presence on the Web and know others can use this advantage too.
In 1997, we began offering Web Design and the following year added Web Hosting to our list of services. In early 1999, we added to the Internet side of our services, offering Dial-in and telnet accounts so others can access the Internet. We no longer offer dial-up services, concentrating instead on our hosting, design and domain name services.
